Overview of Nirogi Haryana Yojana 2025
In the 2024 budget session, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar introduced the Nirogi Haryana Yojana to offer free health checkups for everyone in Haryana. This scheme also includes keeping digital health records for individuals, so these records can be accessed whenever needed. To manage this smoothly, the government has divided the program into 6 parts. In the first part, free health checkups will be done for 98,13,214 people. If any illness is found during these checkups, treatment will also be provided free of cost.
This scheme will help citizens avoid frequent trips to hospitals for tests. All health tests and checkups will be free. The scheme targets families with an annual income of up to 1.80 lakh rupees who belong to the Antyodaya category, giving them access to free medical testing.

Main Objectives of Nirogi Haryana Yojana
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar aims to make free health checkups available for everyone in Haryana through this scheme. If any disease is found, free treatment will be arranged. To make health screening efficient, all family members are divided into 6 categories based on age. This allows proper checking for age-related infectious and non-infectious diseases. More than 25 tests have been listed for screening under this program.
Special tests will be done on the doctor’s advice. Test reports will be delivered within 2 days in the local area of the patient. This scheme helps people get good health care without spending money on hospital visits.

Health Checkup Details Under Nirogi Haryana Yojana
Each age group will get different coloured OPD cards for easy recognition. Health checks include physical exams, measuring height, weight, pulse, blood pressure, dental checkup, and eye examination. Lab tests specific to each category will be done, and special tests will be performed on medical advice. Lab reports will be provided in 2 days by health workers in the patient’s area.

To run this program smoothly, the government has involved departments such as Medical Education and Research, AYUSH, Women and Child Welfare, Education, Panchayati Raj, and Urban Development. In the first phase, 32 medical institutions have been selected to carry out all tests and treatments.
