Eligibility Criteria
- An Indian citizen is required to apply for this scheme’s benefits.
- The applicant’s family’s annual income cannot be more than ₹1.5 lakh.
- The applicant’s family does not include any government employees.
- This scheme will be open to citizens of all castes.
- The applicant’s Aadhaar card should be connected to their bank account.

How to Apply Online for Solar Rooftop Subsidy Yojana
Step 1: Visit the official website of Solar Rooftop Subsidy Yojana.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Consumer’ option and select ‘Apply Now’.
Step 3: Enter your mobile number, captcha code, select the box and click ‘Verify’.
Step 4: Enter the OTP and and click ‘Login’.
Step 5: Enter the required details, such as consumer name, e-mail, address, state, district and PIN code and click on ‘Save’.
Step 6: Select if you want a vendor to fill the form. If you select ‘No’, you can fill the form by clicking on ‘Apply for Solar Rooftop’ tab, entering the required details and submitting the form.
Step 7: After applying for Rooftop Solar, wait for the feasibility approval from DISCOM. Once the feasibility approval gets approved, select the registered vendor in your DISCOM and submit the bank details to receive subsidy.
Step 8: The DISCOM to inspect site for compliance and beign the installation process. Once installation of plant is completed, vendor will submit the installation details to you and to DISCOM.
Step 9: DISCOM will inspect and submit the inspection details to you.
Step 10: Once you inspection report and Solar Rooftop Installation certification from DISCOM, you can redeem your subsidy from the bank. You will receive the subsidy in your bank account within 30 days.

Step 1: To use the Solar rooftop calculator online, you must visit the official website.
Step 2: On the website’s homepage, the solar rooftop calculator option may be accessed by clicking on it.
Step 3:A new web page titled “solar rooftop calculator” will load in front of you.
Step 4:On the calculator page, you may pick from the menu at the top either the Solar Panel capacity you want to install, your budget, or the entire roof area.
