How to Register for National Youth Parliament Scheme

Schools and colleges can register through the official NYPS portal using Aadhaar details of the principal, head, registrar, or dean. Mock Parliament sessions last for one hour and are held at the institution itself. Students may speak in any scheduled Indian language, but Hindi and English are preferred. Each session includes around 50 to 55 students.

  • Students from 9th to 12th grade, and those in undergraduate or postgraduate studies can join.
  • Schools select their 9th-12th standard students with the principal’s approval for ‘Kishor Sabha’. Universities select undergraduate and postgraduate students with the registrar’s approval for ‘Tarun Sabha’.
  • Participation certificates are given to all students while responsible teachers or institution heads get appreciation certificates. These can be printed using the institution’s login details.
