About Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024 Odisha

This scheme was created by merging two earlier pension initiatives: the Revised Old Age Pension Rules of 1989 and the Disability Pension Rules of 1985. Eligibility Criteria
- Age and Health Criteria:
- Must be 60 years or older (OAP).
- Widows of any age are eligible (WP).
- Leprosy patients with visible signs of deformity are eligible, regardless of age (CLP).
- Persons aged 5 years or above who are unable to perform normal work due to deformity, total blindness, orthopedic handicaps, mental retardation, or cerebral palsy are eligible (DP).
- Widows of AIDS patients are eligible, regardless of age and income (WP-AIDS).
- AIDS patients identified by the Orissa State AIDS Control Society can apply, regardless of income (DP-AIDS).
- Income Criteria:
- The applicant’s family income from all sources must not exceed Rs. 12,000 per annum. This must be certified by the concerned Tahasildar.
- Residency:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident or domicile of Odisha.
- Legal Criteria:
- The applicant must not have been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude.
- Pension Exclusivity:
- The applicant should not be receiving any other pension from the Union Government, State Government, or any organization funded by either Government.

- From the home page, you need to go to the “Pension Schemes” link under the Beneficiary Services section.
- A new page will appear on the screen where you need to select “Madhu Babu Pension Yojana” under the choose scheme
- Click the “Proceed” option and the application form will appear on the screen or click here to open the form directly
- Select scheme type and enter a name, father/ husband name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, Aadhar number, district, subdivision, address, and social category
- Thereafter you need to upload an Aadhar card scan copy, thumb impression or signature and a recent passport size image
