KVPY Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Stream SA: Students who passed 10th standard with at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PWD) in maths and science combined, and currently joining 11th standard are eligible to apply for the aptitude test. To get fellowship, they must secure 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in 12th board exams in science subjects and get admission in eligible courses.
- Stream SX: 12th standard students studying Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology aiming to join eligible courses can apply. They need 75% marks (65% for reserved) in 10th board science/maths and must get 60% (50% for reserved) marks in 12th board exams for fellowship.
- Stream SB: First-year students in eligible B.Sc./B.S./Int. M.Sc./M.S. courses with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in 12th board exams in science subjects can apply.
- Candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible under relaxed conditions.

Results of the KVPY aptitude test were announced by Indian Institute of Science on 23rd April 2024.
