About Jyotiba Phule Shramik Kanyadan Yojana 2025
The Uttar Pradesh government has started the Jyotiba Phule Shramik Kanyadan Yojana to give ₹51,000 financial support to the daughters of laborers for their marriage. This scheme is managed by the Labour Welfare Board. So far, 769 daughters of laborers have received benefits from this scheme. The government has spent ₹1.44 crore on this program. Because of this scheme, laborer families don’t have to take loans for their daughters’ weddings as the government provides support.

Eligibility Criteria for Jyotiba Phule Shramik Kanyadan Yojana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Must be a worker or laborer.
- Must live below the poverty line.
- Daughter’s age should be 18 years or above and groom’s age above 21 years.
- Worker should be registered under the Factory Act, 1948.
- Benefit is only for two daughters per laborer family.
- You can apply 3 months before or up to 1 year after the marriage.
- Monthly salary of worker should not exceed ₹15,000.
