Expansion of Bal Sangopan Yojana Benefits
Bal Sangopan Yojana started in 2008 to provide financial help for children’s education. The current support amount is Rs 1125 per month. Children orphaned because of the coronavirus pandemic can also get help through this scheme. If a child has lost one or both parents due to COVID-19, and the other guardian does not earn an income, the child can join this scheme.

Proposal to Deposit Rs 5,00,000 in Accounts of Orphaned Children
The Chief Minister has asked officials to prepare a detailed plan for children who lost their parents due to coronavirus. In a recent meeting, a proposal was made to deposit Rs 5,00,000 into the bank accounts of these children to help with their upbringing.
