This financial aid will benefit 82,31,502 students enrolled in classes 1 to 12. Over the past three years, the government has successfully distributed funds under the scheme. This year, the amount will be transferred on a date to be announced, specifically in Srikakulam. Parents of eligible students will receive ₹15,000 annually as support for their children’s education. In total, ₹19,618 crore has been allocated for the Amma Vodi scheme in 2025, benefitting around 42,33,098 families.
Upcoming Update – The Chief Minister will distribute ₹6392 crore under the Amma Vodi Scheme soon.
The financial assistance of ₹6,392.94 crore will be directly credited to mothers’ bank accounts, benefitting approximately 83,15,341 students in the state. The scheme aims to help mothers who send their children to school, with the intention of reducing dropout rates and improving literacy.
