Agniveer Navy – Are you interested in joining the Indian Navy? Register for the Agneepath scheme as soon as possible, as applications are accepted for only a limited period of seven days. Many young individuals have already registered for this initiative. Eligible candidates can apply to join the Indian Navy via the Agneepath Yojana. This scheme enables recruits to join the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The Agniveers will serve for a duration of four years, after which 25% of them will be retained in the service. Agniveer Navy Objectives
The Agneepath initiative aims to provide every youth in the country the chance to serve in the armed forces, with the top candidates being selected after four years. Those not retained after four years will gain valuable skills and certificates, enabling them to pursue further education or find jobs in the private sector.
Benefits of Joining Agniveer Navy
The advantages for Agniveers include:
- First-year package: Rs 4.76 lakh.
- After completion of the service term, Agniveers will receive a one-time Seva Nidhi package, consisting of their contributions and a matching amount from the government, totaling around Rs 10 lakh.
- Life Insurance Coverage: Agniveers will have non-contributory life insurance of Rs 48 lakh during their service.
- In case of a service-related death, families will receive Rs 44 lakh.
- Disability Compensation: Agniveers are entitled to one-time ex-gratia payments based on the extent of disability (Rs 44/25/15 lakh for 100% / 75% / 50% disability).
- Tax-free financial package of Rs 11.71 lakh after four years of service.
- Monthly pay: Starting from Rs 30,000 in the first year, increasing by 10% each subsequent year (Rs 33,000 in the second year, Rs 36,500 in the third year, and Rs 40,000 in the fourth year).
- Participants not retained after four years will receive a certificate equivalent to a high school diploma, allowing them to continue their education or seek private employment.
- Additional allowances for risk, hardship, clothing, and travel will also be provided during the service period.

Age Limit for Agniveer Navy 2025
- Candidates must be between 17.5 and 23 years old (Born between November 1, 2002, and April 30, 2008).
Educational Qualifications
- Successful completion of the 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics, along with at least one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from a recognized board approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Physical Standards
- All candidates must qualify in the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
- Candidates taking the PFT do so at their own risk.

- Length of Service: Agniveers will serve in the Indian Navy for four years based on the Navy Act of 1957.
- Annual Leave: Agniveers are entitled to 30 days of annual leave.
- Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates can apply. Marriage during the training period can result in disqualification.
- Agniveers cannot terminate their contracts before the end of the service period unless otherwise specified.
