- Under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS) eligible citizens whose age is 60 years will receive financial assistance of INR 200 per month and the citizens who are above the age of 79 years will receive a pension of up to INR 500 per month.
- Under the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS) female citizens who are above the age of 40 years will receive financial assistance of INR 300 per month and female citizens above the age of 80 years will receive financial assistance of IRR 500 per month.
- Under Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS) the amount is INR 300 per month and after attaining the age of 80 years, the beneficiary will get INR 500 per month.

Eligibility Criteria
- The citizens must be a permanent resident of India.

Selection of New Beneficiary
- The new beneficiaries under the scheme will be selected by the gram panchayat/ municipalities based on the current BPL list of the particular area.
- For all the new beneficiaries have to submit an application form to be selected under the scheme a specimen form is given as Annexe III.
- To verify the age of the citizen, the citizens must submit their date of birth or school certificate. In their absence ration card and EPIC may be considered.
- In the case of widows, the state revenue authority can issue a certificate.
- In the case of persons with disability, the State should mandatorily organize camps at convenient localities to which the potential beneficiaries are taken by vehicle free of cost.
Confirmation of Existing Beneficiary
- For the confirmation of existing beneficiaries, the beneficiaries have to go through annual verification under NSA P the state may constitute a special verification team to renew the existing beneficiaries under an authorized officer. The teams should include representatives of Non-Government Organisations of repute which are active in the locality. Details of members of the team and the process may be given wide publicity.
- Once the verification process is completed the list of citizens who are confirmed and who are deleted will be published separately by the authorities. All the citizens who are failed under the confirmation process will also receive a valid reason. It may be indicated that any interested person may file claims and objections within 15 days to the head of the special Verification Team whose details would be indicated.

STEP 2: Once the citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called “login /register”.
