Overview of Yuva Sangam Portal 2025
The Ministry of Education launched the Yuva Sangam Portal on 7 February 2024 at the Indira Gandhi Art Centre, Delhi, with support from the Sports Minister and Information & Broadcasting Minister. Through this portal, youth aged 18 to 30 from across India can join a youth exchange program involving the North Eastern states and other parts of the country. Specifically, 300 youth from the North East will visit other states, while 700 youth from other states will get to experience the culture, language, food, tourism, and diversity of the 8 North Eastern states. In total, 1,000 youth will take part in these exchange programs. Ministries related to education, sports, culture, tourism, railways, information broadcasting, and North Eastern affairs work together to organize this.
