About YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme
This scheme was started by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to provide free credit loans to women members of SHGs. Only women from the state can apply. It aims to help elderly women gain financial freedom and loan waivers.
Update: On 11th August, the Chief Minister deposited Rs. 1,353.76 crores directly into beneficiaries’ accounts under this scheme. It supports about 1.05 crore women across 9.48 lakh SHGs. Since 2019, nearly Rs. 4,969 crore has been given to women in this scheme.
