What is WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana 2025?
WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee on 6 March 2019 so that entrepreneurship among youths can be promoted. Through this scheme financial incentives are provided to the entrepreneurs by the State Government in order to set up their enterprises.
This financial assistance will be Rs 1 lakh which will be provided to 50000 youths. This funding will be provided by the micro, small and medium enterprises department. Through WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana entrepreneurship will be promoted which will help in creating jobs. The creation of jobs will automatically promote the economic growth of the state.
Procedure To Apply Under WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana

Objective of WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana
The main objective of WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana is to provide financial assistance to entrepreneurs so that entrepreneurship among youths can be promoted. Eligibility Criteria Of WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
- The applicant should not have been punished under any criminal offense
- Those youths who are interested in opening a new business and have new ideas in order to create self-employment for themselves and others can apply for this scheme
- Youths having to possess a technical degree from recognized institutes can also apply under this scheme
- ITI pass-outs or diploma holders can also apply under this scheme
- Applicant should not be the availing benefit of any kind of similar scheme from state or Central Government
