The Education Department and the Skills Development Mission are working together to run this program in selected government secondary schools. 150 schools across the state will be chosen, with two from each district – one higher secondary boys’ school and one higher secondary girls’ school. Goals of UP Praveen Yojana 2025

This scheme focuses on students in 10th and 12th grades in government schools to help them gain certified vocational skills while studying. The aim is to give students a skill certificate that can help them find jobs if they leave formal education early. Training will be provided in 11 different trades, including IT, electronics, beauty and wellness, one district one product (ODOP), retail, automobile, and more. Through this, students become more confident and ready for work.
