Who Can Apply and Payment Details
This scheme is for domestic consumers in both urban and rural areas with electricity loads up to 4 kilowatts. Under the UP Asan Kist Yojana 2025, applicants must pay either 5% of the main amount or a minimum of Rs. 1500 along with their current electricity bill. If 5% of the dues is less than Rs. 1500, the minimum payment of Rs. 1500 is required. For every installment, the current monthly bill must also be paid.

If a registered consumer misses payment of two installments and the current bill, they will have to pay double installments and double bills next month.
