Children from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other vulnerable categories are eligible to apply. Allocation of Schools Through Online Lottery
To ensure 25% reservation for economically weaker students in private schools, Madhya Pradesh will conduct an online lottery for freely admitting students under the RTE scheme. The director of the state education center will oversee the lottery process, and students will be allocated schools through this lottery. Parents will receive notifications via SMS. Afterward, they can download allocation letters through the RTE portal and complete their children’s admissions in Madhya Pradesh schools by July 22.
Over Two Lakh Parents Applied for Free Admissions
So far, approximately 201,000 parents have filled out online applications for free admission for their children in private schools under RTE MP Admission 2025. Over 171,000 children’s documents have been verified as eligible for free admission. According to the online lottery results from the Madhya Pradesh Education Department, these children will receive free admission in their chosen schools.

Eligibility Criteria for RTE MP Admission
- Only residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply under RTE Madhya Pradesh.
- Students from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be the eligible candidates.
