The Rajasthan government is offering the Rajasthan Free RSCIT Course absolutely free under the Indira Gandhi Women’s Empowerment and Skill Development Scheme for women and girls in the state. The course will provide basic computer training to ensure that women are aware of fundamental computer knowledge. The program is open to women from all backgrounds in Rajasthan including housewives, teen girls, members of self-help groups, college students, and women from BPL and minority communities, who will receive training through the Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited. The entire cost of the computer training will be borne by the Rajasthan government.

Objectives of the Rajasthan Free RSCIT Course
In today’s world, computers have become essential in daily life. Many tasks are carried out using computers, making it vital for women and girls in the state to gain this knowledge. The Rajasthan government aims to provide basic computer training to ensure that women can understand and connect with the digital world.
Duration of the RSCIT Free Course for Women
The RSCIT free course consists of 132 hours of computer training over a period of 3 months. After the completion of the training, beneficiaries will need to take an examination. The RSCIT course has a total of 100 marks, with a minimum passing requirement of 40%. The examination comprises two parts: a practical test and a written test. The practical test accounts for 30 marks, with a required minimum of 12 marks, while the written test accounts for 70 marks, requiring at least 28 marks to pass. The written test will feature 35 questions, each worth 2 marks, and candidates will have 1 hour to complete it.
Training Program Details
- Selected students will receive training from the Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited at designated ITGK centers, as determined by the district level committee.
- Attendance will be recorded using biometric machines for all students.
- The training will take place as per the schedule provided by the RKCL department.
- After the 3-month period, students must participate in an exam organized by the state government.
- The exam will be conducted by the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University and Kota.
- Results of the RSCIT exam will be provided by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University and Kota.
