Selection Process under Rajasthan Pashu Mitra Yojana
- The Pashu Mitra designation will be assigned to areas where there is currently no operational or sanctioned departmental veterinary institution.
- Details of all sanctioned veterinary institutions in the department are available on the official website of the Animal Husbandry Department district-wise.
- For selection of Pashu Mitra under this scheme, preference will be given to residents of the village from which the application has been received.
- A single application per work area will be accepted.
- If there are multiple applications for one location, the selection will be based on a merit list consisting of 50% Senior Secondary scores and 50% scores obtained in the livestock assistant diploma (B.V.Sc and A.H.).
- Preference will be given to veterinary doctors among livestock assistant applicants for selections in the same area.
- If applicants have the same score, the selection will be based on their birth date, preferring the older candidate.
