Purpose of Prasuti Sahayata Yojana 2025
Women working in informal sectors often can’t work during pregnancy and lose their wages. They also struggle to afford proper food and healthcare during this time. To address these issues, the Madhya Pradesh government started this scheme to give Rs. 16,000 so pregnant women can take care of their health and nutrition easily.
Main Advantages of MP Prasuti Sahayata Yojana 2025
- All working pregnant women in Madhya Pradesh can get the benefits of this scheme.
- Women eligible for the Janani Suraksha Yojana can also apply for this scheme.
- For first pregnancies, women get Rs. 3,000 (first and second installments) under the Prime Minister Matritva Vandana Yojana. The rest of the amount is given through the Chief Minister’s Labour Service Prasuti Assistance Scheme.
- Only pregnant women aged 18 and above and registered with unorganized sectors qualify.
- The full Rs. 16,000 financial assistance is given by the government.

How to Apply for MP Prasuti Sahayata Yojana 2025?
- Pregnant women interested in this scheme should visit their nearest Public Health Center or Family Welfare Department office to get the application form.
- Fill in all required details like name, address, Aadhaar number, and pregnancy date carefully.
- Attach all necessary documents with the form and submit it at the same place where you collected it.
- To get paid, submit a copy of the verified maternal and child protection card completed by ANM/Doctor along with documents mentioned in Kandika 7.
- Applicants must apply at least 6 weeks before the expected delivery date. Late applications can be made before or shortly after delivery if needed.
