In Gujarat, 3,764 villages have been identified, out of which 1,562 villages have been approved under the scheme, with ₹353.18 crore given to the state.

Goals of Pradhanmantri Aadi Aadarsh Gram Yojana
This scheme aims to fully develop selected tribal villages socially and economically. Plans for each village are made based on their needs and strengths. Changing Tribal Villages into Model Villages
The scheme focuses on removing obstacles to the development of tribal villages. The plan targets notified tribal areas with at least 50% Scheduled Tribe population.
