New Fertilizer Bags From October
The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers announced on 24 August that starting 2 October, new fertilizer bags with the Bharat brand will be used. Companies need to put their brand name on one-third of the bag and the Bharat brand name and Prime Minister’s Jan Urvarak Yojana logo on the remaining two-thirds. This will be followed across the country. To prevent losses to manufacturers, the government has given time until 31 December 2025 to finish using old fertilizer bags.
