All About Namo Shetkari Yojana 8th Installment Date 2025
Namo Shetkari Yojana was started by Maharashtra government to give farmers direct financial help. With each installment, farmers get ₹2000 straight into their bank accounts using Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. The 7th installment of this scheme, amounting to ₹1,892.61 crore, was disbursed on 10th September 2025, benefiting over 91 lakh farmers across the state. Under this scheme, farmers receive ₹12,000 annually, combining ₹6,000 from central PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and an extra ₹6,000 from Maharashtra government.
Now, farmers are waiting for 8th installment, which is expected to be credited by end of December 2025. Agriculture Department has clarified that all eligible farmers – including those temporarily excluded from PM Kisan scheme – will get this installment. It is important for farmers to make sure their Aadhaar is linked to their bank accounts and their details are updated to avoid any delay in payment.
In Maharashtra, eligible farmers covered under these two schemes receive ₹12,000 annually.
In this eighth installment, the subsidy for the period from August 2025 to December 2025 will be given to beneficiaries. This subsidy will help farmers recover from challenges like heavy rainfall and support their continued farming activities.
