How to Apply NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana 2025

STEP 1: Visit or contact your nearest State Legal Services Authority (SLSA) or District Legal Services Authority (DLSA).

STEP 2: You can also go to the Legal Services Clinic located in your area. These are small help centers for legal matters.

STEP 3: Share your documents to prove your family member is in the armed or paramilitary forces. Also, tell them clearly what your legal issue is.

What is NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana?

National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) has introduced the NALSA Veer Parivar Sahayata Yojana, launched on Kargil Vijay Diwas, July 26, 2025, in Srinagar to provide free legal aid to serving and retired defence and paramilitary personnel and their families. This is the first time in India’s history that legal support is being proactively extended to soldier families to relieve them of legal burdens while their loved ones serve far away 

Under this scheme, soldiers will get help with property, family, and land-related problems. Not just the Indian Army, but families of BSF, CRPF, ITBP, and other paramilitary forces can also get support through this scheme.

All family members of Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, or other paramilitary personnel can apply under this scheme. If your soldier family member is on duty far away and you’re facing legal issues at home, this scheme is made just for you.
