Mukhyamantri Prakhand Parivahan Yojana 2025-26 Overview
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started the Mukhyamantri Prakhand Parivahan Yojana. Under this scheme, a subsidy will be given for buying buses in 496 blocks, excluding the block headquarters. Seven beneficiaries will be selected from each block to get the subsidy. Selected candidates will receive up to ₹5 lakh for buying a bus, and the amount will be directly sent to their bank accounts through DBT.
Beneficiaries will be selected based on priority lists arranged block-wise and quota-wise. You can apply online. The Bihar Transport Department will run this scheme until 2026. Starting bus services from blocks to district headquarters will make travel easier for the public.

Purpose of CM Block Transport Scheme
This Bihar government scheme is meant to make travel easier by offering direct bus services from every block to the district headquarters. The main aim is to connect all blocks with good bus service. Selected beneficiaries can buy a bus with a government subsidy of ₹5 lakh. This will help people travel comfortably from blocks to district centers.
Beneficiary Selection by Three-Member Committee
After applications are submitted online, a three-member committee will select beneficiaries. The District Magistrate will lead the committee, with the Additional Development Commissioner and District Transport Officer as members. The list of selected and waitlisted candidates will be displayed at the district transport office. There will be a three-day time for objections. After dealing with objections, the final list will be published. Selected beneficiaries can then buy buses and submit required documents to the DTO office to get the subsidy through online bank transfer.
