Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar started this scheme on 30 May 2024 to support children orphaned by the pandemic. Under this plan, eligible children will get ₹1500 per month until they turn 18. Also, children without guardians will be taken care of and given accommodation through child welfare homes. Orphaned girls can get admission to Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential Schools for education and care.
