Farmers pay a premium of ₹750 for vegetables and spices and ₹1000 for fruits. In return, the insurance covers up to ₹30,000 for vegetables and spices and ₹40,000 for fruit crops. To handle claims, the government will conduct surveys that classify crop loss into four levels: 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
