Who can get a bicycle under the MP Free Cycle Scheme?
The MP Free Cycle Distribution Scheme is for schoolchildren studying in government schools in rural areas. You can get the benefit only once when you take admission in Class 6 or Class 9. If you fail or repeat the class, you will not get a second cycle.
You are eligible if:
- Your school is a government school.
- You are entering Class 6 or Class 9.
- Your village does not have a middle or high school.
- You have to travel to another village (2 km or more) for school.
Special rule for girls: Girls staying in government hostels can also get cycles, but the cycle will stay with the hostel. You can use the cycle during your stay, but you must return it when you leave the hostel.

How to get a bicycle under this scheme?
