Karnataka Grama One Centres help villagers get many government services in one place. You can also get these services online. These centres offer important facilities like government banking right in your village. They are set up across Karnataka to support rural communities, especially people who find it difficult to travel to government offices.
Thanks to this scheme, villagers no longer need to visit multiple government offices in the district. Some of the main services available at these centres include Seva Sindhu services, Right to Information (RTI) applications, Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) support, Micro Banking, Aadhar updates, and Sakala services.
This scheme started on 17th January 2024 and was launched by the Chief Minister of Karnataka. It aims to bring together various government department services close to the people, helping spread awareness and making access easier. It has already covered 12 districts and will reach all districts by 2025, with plans to open up to 300 Grama One Centres.
