What is Kalia Yojana?
Kalia Yojana (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) is a support scheme of the Odisha State Government. It is made for small and marginal farmers and for landless agricultural workers. The aim is to give simple money help so that you can buy farm inputs, grow your income, and improve your family’s life.
New Update – Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on 2nd August 2025 announced that six lakh new farmers have been enrolled under the PM-KISAN scheme in Odisha, with a special focus on including previously left-out rural and urban farmers. CM confirmed that a total of 34.85 lakh farmers across Odisha have now received PM-KISAN benefits. Additionally, in the ongoing Kharif season, the government has distributed input subsidies totaling Rs 6,000 crore to support 17 lakh farmers, further strengthening farmer welfare in the state.
