What is Kalia Yojana?
Kalia Yojana (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) is a support scheme of the Odisha State Government. New Update – Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on 2nd August 2025 announced that six lakh new farmers have been enrolled under the PM-KISAN scheme in Odisha, with a special focus on including previously left-out rural and urban farmers. CM confirmed that a total of 34.85 lakh farmers across Odisha have now received PM-KISAN benefits. Additionally, in the ongoing Kharif season, the government has distributed input subsidies totaling Rs 6,000 crore to support 17 lakh farmers, further strengthening farmer welfare in the state.
