How Does Maharashtra Loan Waiver Process Work?
- Farmers must have their bank loan accounts linked with Aadhaar and be members of different cooperative societies.
- In March, banks will prepare lists with Aadhaar and loan details and display them on notice boards and offices.
- These lists give farmers a unique ID for their credit accounts.
- Farmers must collect their unique ID with Aadhaar and verify the loan details at government service centers.
- If the loan amount is approved after verification, relief money will be transferred to the loan account.
- If there are any differences between loan amount and Aadhaar details, farmers can raise them before district collector committees for a final decision.
Who Cannot Benefit from Jyotiba Phule Loan Waiver Scheme?
- Former ministers, MLAs, and MPs.
- Central and state government officers and employees earning more than ₹25,000 monthly (excluding Class 4 staff).
- Directors and officials with high salaries from sugar factories, agricultural committees, dairy federations, cooperative banks, and spinning mills.
- People receiving monthly pension over ₹25,000.
- Farmers paying income tax apart from agricultural income.

- Loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh for farmers in Maharashtra.

The list is published district-wise. Small and marginal farmers can select their district and check the Karj Mafi List 2025 for their name. The list includes farmers who took crop loans before 30th September and are eligible for loan waiver of up to ₹2 lakh.
