Chief Minister Hemant Soren started the Panchayat Level Medical Shop Scheme on 19th June 2024 in Chatra district. At the launch, medical shop licenses were given to three people in Chatra Panchayat. This scheme plans to open medicine shops in every Panchayat throughout the state. Now, people living in rural areas will not have to travel to block or district centers to buy common generic medicines. This will make medicines easier to get in villages.
