The Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana, earlier called Biju Swasthya Kalyana Yojana, gives free healthcare support. Now renamed, the scheme still offers free medical services with financial help of up to 7 lakh in rural areas and 6 lakh in urban areas of Odisha. This update was shared by Odishas Chief Minister, Mr. Mohan Majhi, during the 2024-25 budget presentation. The government has also renamed other schemes to give a fresh start.
