Goem Vinamulya Vij Yevjan Scheme – Objective
The primary objective of the Goem Vinamulya Vij Yevjan Scheme is to promote the use of Solar rooftops. With a 75,021-crore budget, the project will be implemented until FY 2026–2027. The program will enable private homes to generate their electricity and increase the capacity of solar rooftops. With a budget of Rs 75,021 crore, the central programme, Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, would run until FY 2026–2027. An initial investment of Rs 35 crore is made in the Goem Vinamulya Vij Yevjan. Customers consuming 400 or fewer units annually will have the remaining cost of rooftop installations up to 5kW covered by the Goa Energy Development Agency.

Goem Vinamulya Vij Yevjan Scheme Apply Online 2024
Step 1: First, go to the official PM Surya Ghar website.
Step 2: To register, enter the following information.
– Choose your state; – Choose your electricity distribution company; – Enter your electricity consumer number; – Enter your mobile number; – Enter your email; – Please follow the instructions on the site.
Step 3: Enter your consumer number and mobile number to log in.
Step 4: Fill out the form to apply for rooftop solar.
Step 5: Complete the application online.
Step 6: Await DISCOM’s acceptance of the feasibility. Installing the plant by any of the approved suppliers in your DISCOM is possible once you have received the feasibility approval.
Step 7: After installation is complete, apply for a net meter and submit the plant specifications.
Step 8: They will generate a commissioning certificate from the portal following the net meter installation and DISCOM inspection.
Step 9: After obtaining the report on commissioning. Send in a voided check and the bank account information using the online portal. Within thirty days, your bank account will be credited with your subsidy.
