Overview of Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana 2025
This scheme was started by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to provide cashless medical treatment to poor tribal citizens up to Rs 5 lakh. Beneficiaries can get up to Rs 1 lakh for secondary care and Rs 4 lakh for tertiary care. Note that primary care treatment is not covered. The scheme is mainly for socially and economically backward people in Arunachal Pradesh. It replaces the earlier Chief Minister’s Universal Health Insurance Scheme. The scheme is managed by the Health and Family Welfare Department. Eligible beneficiaries can get treatment at any empanelled hospital including government, trust, private, semi-private, and charitable hospitals. Around 23 different medical treatments are covered.
