About Bihar Kushal Yuva Program 2025
The Bihar Skill Development Mission launched the Bihar Kushal Yuva Program on 16 December 2016. It provides skill training to youths aged between 15 and 28 years in Bihar. Only those who have passed the 10th grade can apply. The program focuses on soft skill training like life skills, communication skills, and basic computer literacy to improve youths’ chances of getting work.
Training is provided through various centers across Bihar. So far, 112,000 youths have received training, and 1,100 training centers have been opened. Initially, the program started with 48 centers and 1978 youth, but now it aims to cover every block in the state.

Purpose of Bihar Kushal Yuva Program
The main goal of this program is to train youth in Bihar with skills that improve their chance of getting jobs. Training is free and covers life skills, communication, and basic computer use.
