Implementation of the Scheme
Approximately 10 lakh eligible applicants will receive a loan of Rs. 1 lakh each from banks at just 2% annual interest to help restart their operations under the Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana. No collateral is required for these loans. The Gujarat Government will cover the remaining 6% interest paid to the banks. The repayment period for these loans will be three years, with the loan payments commencing six months after approval.
