About Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme 2025
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma introduced the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Abhijan, also called CMAAA. The main goal is to help unemployed youth start their own businesses by giving them money and other resources. Selected beneficiaries receive Rs. 2 lakh, which includes Rs. 1 lakh as a subsidy and Rs. 1 lakh as an interest-free loan to be paid back over five years.
This scheme also offers skill training and helps youth connect to markets. It encourages entrepreneurship and aims to reduce unemployment in Assam.
