The main objective of the AP free laptop scheme is to provide laptops to students free of cost. This scheme will promote digital education. AP Free Laptop Scheme Eligibility Conditions
- Students whose parent’s income is less than Rs.15000 per month will get Laptop for free
- Students whose parent’s income is between Rs.15000 to Rs.20000 per month have to pay half the amount of the laptop
- The Students whose parent’s income is more than Rs. 20000 per month have to pay the full cost.
- Students must study in the professional courses
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of AP state

Guideline For The Sanction Of Laptop To Differently Abled Students
For visually challenged students IT has proposed to procure laptops at the rate of Rs 30000 for all the students who are studying in professional courses to the tune of Rs 60000. Other than that the government is also going to provide laptops to hearing-challenged, speech-impaired, and orthopedically-challenged students once in a lifetime. Below mentioned are the guidelines for sanction of laptops:-
- The laptop will be issued to the student once in a lifetime
- Is some incorrect information is provided by the student in order to get the benefit of this scheme then the student is liable for any reason action by the corporation? The students also have to return the instrument or the cost of the instrument
- Only those students will get the benefit of this scheme whose parents/guardians’ monthly income does not exceed
- Rs 15000 per month which is half of the cost of the instrument
- Rs 15000 per month to Rs 20000 per month and collecting full cost to that monthly income of
- Rs 20000 per month and above under ADIP Scheme
- Students are required to submit a Bonafide certificate from the school or college, income certificate of parents, saderam certificate, Aadhar Card, phone number, etc
- Laptops will be distributed through the assistant director, department for the welfare of differently-abled and senior citizen/district manager A.P differently-abled and senior citizen assistant corporation
- The officials are required to maintain all the applications received in the year with them
- Only eligible details of the requirement of laptop have to be submitted to the head office
- The officials are required to maintain a record of the beneficiaries in order to avoid double claims or false claims
- Only those students who are pursuing post-graduation or professional courses will get the benefit of this scheme

Procedure to Apply For AP Free Laptop Scheme 2024
Online
- Go to the official website of Andhra Pradesh differently-abled and Senior Citizen Assistance Corporation.
- On the home page click “online application” option from mid of the page
- Click “click here to apply for the differently-abled scheme”
- Search “Application for Sanction of Laptops” option
- Click on the “Apply online” option and a new page will appear
- If you are not registered click “no” option
- The form will appear on the screen
- Enter the following details
- Name as in Aadhaar card
- Aadhar card number
- Mobile number
- Email id
- Create a password
- Retype the password
- Select the register option
- If you have already registered with the site then log in with id and password
- Click apply online option and the application form will display
- Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents
- Submit the application form after reviewing of the form
