Abhaya Hastham – In India, many women continue to face challenges due to social biases and the various crimes against them. This article aims to shed light on the Abhaya Hastham Scheme for 2025. We will provide a detailed guide on how to register for the scheme along with its eligibility criteria, benefits, features, and the government’s objectives behind it.

Overview of Abhaya Hastham Scheme 2025
The Abhaya Hastham scheme was initiated by the Telangana government to help elderly women in our society. Often, by the time women reach the age of 65, their husbands or family caretakers have passed away, leaving them without a means to earn and sustain themselves. This scheme aims to provide financial support through pensions and insurance to women aged 65 and above.
Recent Update: CM Revanth Reddy has launched the Praja Palana Application Form as a part of the Abhaya Hastham Scheme. This application form will cover all six guarantee schemes promised by the Telangana Congress during the 2024 elections. The submission of the Praja Palana Application Form will begin on 28th December 2025, with a tentative end date not yet announced. Applicants must submit their forms at the designated Gram Sabha locations in their villages and municipal wards.
