On 28 March 2024, the government of Punjab launched the Punjab Doorstep Ration Delivery Scheme. Through this scheme, the ration will be home-delivered to the citizens of Punjab. Now citizens of Punjab are not required to go anywhere to take ration because the government is going to deliver the ration to their doorstep. This scheme will save a lot of time and money and will also bring transparency to the system. This scheme is one of the promises which has been made by the Aam Aadmi party during the assembly election campaign. The government is going to benefit 43 lakh families with the implementation of this scheme. The government will deliver the ration in sealed bags by following all the protocols.
