UP Ek Mushth Samadhan Scheme Timelines
This scheme runs from 8 November 2024 to 31 December 2024 in three phases: first from 8 to 30 November, second from 1 to 15 December, and third from 16 to 31 December. Consumers who miss the payment deadlines can still pay till 16 January 2025 due to the extended period.

Three Categories of the Scheme
- Category 1: Farmers with loans before 31 March 1997 can get full waiver on interest, only paying the principal amount.
- Category 2: Farmers with loans from 1 April 1997 to 31 March 2007 get partial waivers; depending on amounts already paid, they may need to pay pending principal and interest.
- Category 3: Farmers with loans from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2012 can get 35% to 100% interest relief based on repayment date during scheme periods.
