Andhra Pradesh state government has launched the Andhra Pradesh Baby Kit scheme 2025. To support the newborns and mothers in government hospitals of Andhra Pradesh state financially and nutritionally, the Andhra Pradesh state government has revived the Andhra Pradesh Baby Kit scheme 2025.
The scheme was approved by the state cabinet of Andhra Pradesh after a request from the State Health Department. An announcement for the scheme was made by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state on 6th May 2025. The scheme is fully funded by the Andhra Pradesh State government to provide basic essential items to newborn babies and mothers in the state.
Andhra Pradesh Baby Kit scheme with Update
Andhra Pradesh government has approved a budget of ₹51.14 crore for the NTR Baby Kit scheme. This scheme will help all mothers who give birth in government hospitals across the state. Its main goals are to lower infant deaths, help mothers recover better, and improve public health from the very first day of a baby’s life.
Each baby kit has good quality and essential items to make sure the newborn and mother have what they need for a clean, safe, and healthy start. The scheme also encourages mothers to deliver in hospitals instead of at home, which helps reduce risks and ensures better care after birth.
How to Apply Andhra Pradesh Baby Kit Scheme ?
You do not need to fill any application form or apply online for the Andhra Pradesh Baby Kit Scheme. Eligible mothers will be provided the NTR Baby Kit directly at the time of discharge from any government hospital in Andhra Pradesh after delivery. Make sure your Aadhaar and hospital delivery records are updated and accurate.
