Complete NPR Question List 2025 – The central government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved starting the 2024 Census and updating the National Population Register (NPR). The NPR was first prepared in 2010. During the 2010 census, 15 types of information were collected from people. Now, in 2025, the NPR will be updated again. This time, you will be asked where your parents were born. The 2010 register had 15 questions, but the new register has added six more. The government collects new information every time to make better plans for the country.

Purpose of National Population Register (NPR)
The main goal of this process is to collect details about all residents in the country. It aims to build trust between people and the government. Everyone in India, except those in Assam, will be part of this NPR update. For the 2024 census, officials will visit homes and ask 21 questions, including your nationality. Registering your name in the NPR is mandatory for all residents.
Main 21 Questions in the National Population Register
The 2010 NPR had 15 questions. In 2025, 6 new questions have been added, making a total of 21 important questions. Here is the full list you should know:
