Benefits of PM Vidyalaxmi Scheme

The benefits of the PM Vidyalaxmi Scheme are given below:-

  • For loan amounts up to ₹7.5 lakhs, a 75% credit guarantee will be provided by the Government of India. This is done to support banks to expand coverage for students.
  • Further, for students with up to Rs. 8 lakhs annual family income, the PM Vidyalaxmi scheme will also provide for a 3% interest subvention on loans up to ₹10 lakh.
  • The interest subvention support will be given to one lakh students every year.

Loan Amount and Interest Subvention

The students whose annual family income is up to 8 lakh rupees will be provided with the 3% interest subvention on the loan of 10 lakh rupees.

In addition, the students whose annual family income is 4.5 lakhs will be given the full interest subvention under this scheme. The loan amounts up to 7.5 lakhs will be provided a 75% credit guarantee by the government of India.
