What is Mukhyamantri Vayoshri Yojana
The Maharashtra state government announced the scheme to uplift the standard of living of all the financially unstable senior citizens of Maharashtra state. Under this scheme, the Maharashtra state government is all set to provide financial assistance of INR 3000 to all the senior citizens of the state. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. With the help of financial assistance, senior citizens did not have to depend on anyone for their day-to-day expenses. According to the Government of Maharashtra state, a total of 1.5 million senior citizens of Maharashtra will avail the benefits under the scheme.
