AP Sand Booking Portal (APMDC)
Sand Sale Management & Monitoring System has been launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the people of the state to make available sand at an affordable price. The portal is managed by the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited. This portal has been started to maintain transparency in selling sand to the citizen. This portal will also help in avoiding the sand mafia.

Procedure to Register on AP Sand Booking Portal
Here are the steps which you have to follow to register yourself as a general consumer or bulk consumer:
General Consumer Registration
- To register you need to visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited
- From the opened page, you need to go to the registration option given in the menu bar
- Then click the “General Consumer Registration” option from the drop-down list
- First, enter your mobile number and click the “Send OTP” option
- Enter the OTP send on your mobile number and click submit option
- Now enter your Aadhaar number and click submit option
- Now you need to enter your residential address such as Name, District, Rural/ Urban, Mandal/ Municipality, Grama panchayat/ Ward, Address/Door no, Landmark/Street name, Pin code, and Mail Id
- Click the “Next” option and tick the checkbox
- Click the “register” option and proceed to order sand
AP Sand Booking Bulk Consumer Registration
- To register you need to visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited
- From the opened page, you need to go to the registration option given in the menu bar
- Then click the “Bulk Consumer Registration” option from the drop-down list
- First, enter your mobile number and click the “Send OTP” option
- Enter the OTP send on your mobile number and click submit option
- Now enter “GST No.”, click the “Get GST details” option, and the registered address will display on the screen such as the Name of the company (As per GST), Trade name (As per GST), Mobile number (As per GST) and Address (As per GST)
- Now you need to enter your residential address such as Name, District, Rural/ Urban, Mandal/ Municipality, Grama panchayat/ Ward, Address/Door no, Landmark/Street name, Pin code, and Mail Id
- Click the “Next” option and tick the checkbox
- Click the “register” option
How to Book Online Sand at sand.ap.gov.in
- To book sand you need to visit the official website
- From the opened page, you need to go to the Booking option given in the menu bar
- Then click “Online Sand Booking” option from the drop-down list
- Login to the site by entering “Mobile No” and click “Send OTP” option
- Enter the OTP and click submit option
General Consumer
- Click the “Send Order” option and new fields will display
- Select Type of work, Type of construction, Size of construction, and Present required sand quantity
- Then enter a delivery address, first enter Name, District, Rural/ Urban, Mandal/ Municipality, GP/ Ward, Address, and Pin code.
- Select Stockyard District, Stockyard then Stockyard name, Available quantity, Sand price, and Sand price details
- Click on the “Continue payment” option and click on “Online payment”
- Two payment methods will be displayed “SBI” and “PAYU”
- Enter the asked details and click on “Pay now” button to make the payment.
Bulk Consumer
- From the opened page click the “Add order” option
- Select Type of work, Enter Work order/ Plan approval number, Type of construction, Enter Size of construction, Enter the certified sand quantity, and Other information
- Upload certificate and supporting document,
- Enter Name and Select District, Rural/ Urban, Mandal/ Municipality, GP/ Ward, Address, and Pin code
- Click on the “SUBMIT” option and your bulk order registration successful
- Now you have to wait for the department’s approval. Visit the site again and log in to it. If you find the order status has changed to “Approval”
- Then you need to make payment for that click on the “Bulk order reference No” option
- Click on the “payment” option after checking the displayed detail
- Click the “online payment” option and Payment method options will appear
- Enter the details and click the Pay option.
District Wise List of Sand Stockyards
Starting from July 8, 2024, the free sand policy will resume in sand stockyards across Andhra Pradesh as per government guidelines. Each consumer can get up to 20MT of sand per day until supplies stabilize. Sand will be available from 6 AM to 6 PM. According to the policy, the government will provide sand to consumers without charging any revenue share, except for the cost of operations, statutory levies, and taxes, which can be paid online.

Procedure to Track APMDC Sand Booking Order
- To book sand or track your order you need to visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation Limited
- From the opened page, you need to go to the Booking option given in the menu bar
- Then click the “Track Your Order” option from the drop-down list
- Login to the site by entering “Mobile No” and click the “Send OTP” option
- Enter the OTP and click the submit option
- Go to my booking option and check the status.
