Who Can Apply? Eligibility Criteria for RTE Karnataka Admission 2025
- Children must live permanently in Karnataka.
- For LKG admission: Age should be between 3 years 5 months and 5 years (Birthdate between 01 June 2018 and 01 January 2024).
- For 1st Grade admission: Age should be between 5 years 5 months and 7 years (Birthdate between 1 June 2016 and 1 August 2018).
- Family annual income should not be more than ₹3.5 lakh.
- Priority is given to orphans, HIV-affected, transgender children, children with special needs, migrant/street children, farmers’ children, and children from deprived groups.
- Children from socially and economically weaker sections are also eligible.
- Children of government employees can also apply.
