National Creators Award – To recognise the contributions of digital content producers and changemakers, the Indian government has launched the first-ever National Creators Award 2024 through its citizen engagement platform, MyGov. Nominations for the National Creators prize, which has over 20 prize categories, are accepted till February 21 on the MyGov website. The government launched the esteemed National Creators Award to recognise the expanding impact of digital artists and influencers and support India’s digital economy. The award is intended to highlight the many voices and skills that are influencing India’s future while simultaneously promoting positive social change and encouraging innovation in the digital space, according to the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY). Nominees may submit up to three nominations for themselves, and nominees may submit nominations for their favourite creators across all categories. Nomination Process
  • Self-Nomination: Creators are allowed to nominate themselves. The nomination must include links to the content on the eligible platforms, a brief description of the content’s impact, and any other supporting reasons as required by the nomination form.
  • Nomination Limits: Creators can self-nominate in a maximum of three categories. Those nominating others can propose nominations across all 20 categories.
  • Submission Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by the deadline specified in the schedule. Late submissions will not be considered.
  • Follower Count Consideration: The number of followers or subscribers will be considered as of 9th February 2024.

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years of age or above at the time of nomination.
  • Nationality and Residency: 19 categories are open exclusively to individuals of Indian nationality. One category is dedicated to international digital creators
  • Platforms: Content must be published on one or more of the following digital platforms: Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Facebook.
  • Language: Content submission can be in English or any other Indian language.
  • Nomination Limits: Creators can self-nominate in a maximum of three categories. Those nominating others can nominate in all 20 categories.

To nominate now for the National Creators Award, the user needs to follow the below-given steps:

  • First of all, go to the official website of MyGov i.e., https://innovateindia.mygov.in/
  • The home page of the website will open on the screen
  • Click on the National Creators Award 2024 tab
  • A new page will open on the screen
  • Click on the Nominate Now button
  • Login to your Innovate account page will open on the screen
  • Now, select your nationality and enter your name
  • After that, click on the login with OTP button
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
  • Enter the received OTP for verification
  • After successful verification, the dashboard of your account will open on the screen
