Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is ready to start the Mukhymantri Udyam Shakti Yojana 2025 to boost women empowerment in Madhya Pradesh. The Women and Child Development Department has prepared the scheme and will present it for cabinet approval soon.
This scheme will be run through the Chief Minister’s Nari Samman Fund, which currently has Rs. 108 crores. Women entrepreneurs and self-help groups will get loans from banks with a 2% interest subsidy for economic activities. In addition, loans will also be given for skill development and product promotion. The loan repayment will be in 6 installments per year. To manage the scheme smoothly, a Shakti Portal will be created for easy tracking and management.
