How to Upload KYC Details in EPF UAN Online
- Go to EPFO’s official member portal at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
- Log in using your UAN, password, and captcha.
- After logging in, go to the “Manage” tab and click on “KYC”.
- Select the document type you want to update.
- Fill in the required details carefully and click “Save”.
- Your KYC status will show “Pending for Approval” until your employer approves it.
- After approval, the status changes to “Digitally Approved KYC” and you’ll get an SMS confirmation.

- Your employer verifies and digitally approves your documents.
- EPFO then checks the documents for accuracy.

How to Update Contact Details in EPF Account
- Go to the EPFO member portal and log in.
- Click “Manage”, then “Contact Details”.
- Choose to change your mobile number and/or email ID.
- Enter your new contact details and click on “Get Authorization PIN”.
- Enter the OTP received on your current mobile number and click “Validate”.
- After successful verification, your contact details will be updated within a few days.
